What kind of volunteer opportunities are available at LAFF?
At this time, we ask anyone who wants to volunteer to collect funds and inform people of the community about LAFF. It's really as much time as someone wants to put into this. We appreciate anything & everything.
Besides monetary donations, what other types of contributions would be helpful?
We are primarily looking for monetary funding, but if people want to purchase certain specialized toys & equipment to donate, we would be open to this.
Can you share a specific story of how someone's involvement has made a real difference?
One child who has gotten help from LAFF could only say 4-5 words, but with the help of getting financial support to go to speech, occupational, & ABA therapies, this child's vocabulary, spatial awareness, social skills, well, in everything, they have advanced. The doctors told the parents that this child wasn't going to speak, but they were WRONG! We don't give up on our kids here at LAFF!
What upcoming events or campaigns does LAFF have planned?
Autism Awareness Month is in April! Go to deathiscertainlifeisnot.com & order any products (this is a year round event because when buying any product from our shop, part of the proceeds come to us at LAFF).
